It's pretty much undetectable the change in my body from last week to this. Today I got on the scale and had a friend record my weight while I stood there. I can get very OCD with numbers and if I feel I'm putting a ton of effort in, I have been known to want huge results. I end up sabotaging myself when things don't go the way I want. So I've asked my friend to record my weight once a week and only tell me when I've lost 10 pounds. I don't want to know the number when I've lost ten mind you, I just want to know there's some movement and I'd like to know how long it takes.
I'm eating very clean and have cut out my once per day popcorn habit, that habit was a new one but it included real butter (organic but still). I don't post these pictures to get ooohs and awws, I'm posting them so I can see improvement and so that I can be accountable. Some of you may (or may not) be inspired by what I'm doing and I want you to know I'm still doing it. I'm not going to give up. Bikini body by July is my goal. The pictures aren't exacts (no duh) so it's hard to get a sense (yet) of any progress, but I posted the second one because it gives a clearer shot of my torso which is a little thicker than it should be. The week 3 picture doesn't do the posterior justice because that I do like - it juts enough to give me a woman's not a boys shape. Gosh I gotta admit it's hard posting less than flattering shots. But... I know before too long I'll be proud to post them once again! That's the great thing about cause and effect of food.

What do you think of Weight Watchers? I've always thought it seemed like a waste of money, but I know lots of women who swear by it to lose 10 or 15 pounds in a healthy way.
I've tried W.W. It's great for teaching you what food is actually good and what is bad. I still go by the following: (a low glycemic diet works for everyone!)
No white (no sugar, flour, starchy veggies)
No grains (including rice)
No dairy (except real cream in small amounts)
I do:
Berries ( and 1/2 frozen banana 2x week)
lean meats (salmon, beef, chicken)
Eggs
lots of veggies!
For me staying boring for the first month or so helps me. I pretty much eat the same thing every day - I know the calorie count and I know what I can eat.
If I eat out it's veggies, lean protien etc.
I don't drink as much water as I should.
Might I suggest IF (intermittent fasting) as a kick-starter to your metabolism?
Though truth be told you seem adorable to me...
I did IF last year after eating primal for about six weeks. Actually right now I haven't eaten since 8:30 pm yesterday and it's now 12:41 pm the next day and I'm not hungry. 16 hours without food so that'a a mini IF right?
Thanks for the compliment, but I am too heavy for a small frame. I have the benefit of having an hour glass figure no matter weight I'm at, so it's a bit deceiving. I'm not complaining!
